Factions

Announcement!

We have moved to new, and hopefully better hardware! Along with this move came a bunch of updates to our code base. Please let me know if you spot something wonky.

More Faction Feats: Ciphers

Chapter IV of the Planescape Campaign Setting presents 9 faction feats for each faction. The number nine being 3 times 3, it’s in accord with the Rule of Threes, but there’s still room for improvement. What’s better than 3 x 3, you ask? Well, for starters, 3 x 3 x 3, or three to the third degree.

Here are nine new feats for the Transcendent Order. This is the second set out of sixteen planned (one per faction) – the Doomguard feats were posted earlier.

The Planewalker's Guild

Loki De Carabas's picture

Guildmaster: Balthasar Thames (CG male human Wiz13)Faction/Sect Symbol: The Guild’s symbol is that of a golden doorway over a silver staircase, at the base of which lies a blue enamel river and brown enamel tree roots. The symbol is often embroidered upon a sash or worn upon a belt, amulet, ring, or most commonly a broach.

Etchers of the Mark

Sect Name: The Gloryhounds, EtchersSect Symbol:  Two concentric circles  with the outer part divided into sixteen pieces.  All seventeen sections are then colored in hues representative of the seventeen outer planes.  Individual Gloryhounds inscribe their initials or personal symbol so that it is covering the majority of the symbol;  If a generic symbol is needed, a simple X is used instead.

Spire-Breakers

Nemui's picture

(The Breakers, the Low Men)Sect Symbol: A burning red eye.Sect Philosophy:The Great Wheel is an abomination. It holds the planes captive in a neatly balanced ring. It imprisons planewalkers that travel the Hinterlands. It hides the true infinity, offering us a false one. Free yourself! Shatter the wheel! Sunder the spire that holds it in place and the Beams that support it! Cut the planes loose into the swirling mass of overlapping realities, unshackle sentient beings to explore and inhabit them, herald the age of truly endless possibilities for all!
